Our whipped tallow balm is made in small batches from rendered 100% grass-fed beef tallow, naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K and fatty acids similar to those in healthy skin. Whipped with organic plant oils into a light, creamy texture, it melts on contact to soften dry hands, elbows, heels and face and support the skin barrier.
Ingredients
Unscented: grass-fed beef tallow, organic extra-virgin olive oil, organic jojoba oil, vitamin E (tocopherol).
Lavender: as above, plus Mood Chillin Organic Lavender Essential Oil.
Lemon Verbena: as above, plus Mood Chillin Organic Lemon Verbena Essential Oil.
The scented versions are blended with our own organic essential oils at a gentle, skin-friendly dilution.
How to use
Scoop a pea-sized amount, warm it between your fingertips until it melts, and massage into clean skin. Use morning and night, or wherever skin feels dry. A little goes a long way.
Storage
Keep the lid closed and store below 75°F (24°C), away from direct sun. The balm may soften in warm weather; this does not affect quality. Best used within 12 months of opening.
Safety
For external use only. Do a patch test before first use: apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. Stop use if irritation occurs. Avoid eyes and broken skin. The Lemon Verbena version may increase sun sensitivity; avoid sun on treated skin for 12 hours. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing or under medical care, consult your healthcare provider before use. 2 oz (57 g) amber glass jar.
